@SundaeRedux @AOL AOL was a nightmare to cancel. Maybe they got bullied into keeping it by the CSR?

@retog_rick @SundaeRedux @AOL I'm not billed and don't pay for the service. If you are referring to ads...I'm still not the one paying the bill.

@rechyman1 @shillman1 @AOL Same here. All my friends are still aol too. I have other email accounts but never use them. AOL is like my comfy shoes that I don’t want to give up. I think AOL will be outta business when us boomers pass on

@TheRickWilson Three of the lawyers have AOL emails. Both Twitter and Facebook have court enforceable Terms of Service that suits must be filed locally in California, which courts have upheld, not in Florida. I don't think this is going anywhere.

@ScottGreenfield My personal email is still AOL for the same reason. I don't understand the arrogance over an e-mail address. They all work the same. In fact, google e-mail is awful with how it bunches everything together, even after you've forwarded something to a third party.

@shillman1 @AOL They’ve been reupping service from a stack of “1000 Hours Free” CD ROMs they swiped from the checkout line of Computer World, for twenty years now.

I'm sick of people making fun of people who use AOL email addresses. I use it and I love it, because it dings whenever you get a new email. No other email service does that. I also use gmail, but shove your AOL snobbery.
