Anyway, when I got to work, I began trying to get the news via a terrible internet connection and AOL. When the situation became a bit more clear, our small team met in a conference room, tried to process the events, and then went home.

@doodlemom1031 One of the many chains in trouble. I’ve read about several on AOL news. Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, Checkers, Pizza Hut, and a bunch more. Red Lobster, Carrara’s, TGIFriday’s, Red Robin. All are “in trouble.” (Don’t take my word for it, I may remember wrong!)

Phone service was barely working where I was in Queens, and it wasn't working at all in Manhattan. My best friend's boyfriend was at work in Midtown. He found me on AOL Instant Messenger at one point and asked me to try to make a phone call on his boss's behalf.

my friend said the feeling of being under attack was overwhelming, they were in an aol chess game site someone said a plane crash into a building and a second building, one fell down then the other one, another plane taken over another crashed into a field, one hit the pentagon

@AOLSupportHelp I can't reset my password as I have forgotten it and have a new phone it keeps asking me to go to help sign in I have done this and it won't reset
