  back in i want to say around 2010, AOL offered @ love .com emails as a valentines day promotion. i ran some script for hundreds of rare usernames on it. aol was unusable for a daily email service so i didn't get much use out of them, but they were nice to look at

To make the transition easier, you linked your old legacy account to automatically forward everything into your new Gmail inbox. You haven't logged into that Yahoo account in a decade. The Mechanics: Legacy email platforms like Yahoo and AOL have notoriously outdated, porous spam filters compared to Google's billion-dollar machine learning infrastructure. By using POP3 or IMAP to pull that mail into Gmail, you are essentially bypassing Google's frontline defenses and piping raw, unfiltered internet sewage straight into your pristine Gmail ecosystem. The Fix: It is time to sever the cord. Go to Gmail Settings > Accounts and Import. Look under "Check mail from other accounts." Delete the legacy connections.   @walipini The first round of destruction was the free AOL trial CDs. Then came smartphones. It looks like AI will be putting the final nail in the coffin by serving as an uncapped sewer, spewing **** all over the place.

  @Pirat_Nation iCloud email sucks ***** anyway. Tons and tons and tons of spam targets it. Just about anything else is better. Even AOL.

  @MorePerfectUS This dysgenic mouth-breather just says things for controversy. Remember he was the guy who became rich by taking Netscape IPO before it could even turn a profit and then sold it to AOL. His entire existence is the prototype for the Silicon Valley hype bro (i.e. Theranos, WeWork, etc.. would never be possible without his prototype) and if you don't hate him then you don't know him enough

  @luckychappy_ @Diiabeetuss they are, and i generally dont buy from them anymore. if u dont care about ur employees then u dont care about ur consumer. and complain, have u heard AOL dial up? ever try to look something up for school and get kicked off cuz someone needed the phone. damn right i complained
