  • mnewkirk Matt Newkirk (@mnewkirk) reported

Also, why is there this huge product fixation on unique facsimiles of something? History has told us that people will line up for numbered copies of things, whether they're art prints or AOL usernames (I see you, bsmith2738), and digital copies never diverge in quality.

y’all want the supreme impact and drop aol clip art onto the left breast of a hoodie and call it fashion when you don’t have the name to make it valuable. that’s like me throwing my **** onto a canvas and trying to sell it to an art collector as part of the “hep **** collection”

@InvestmentTalkk AOL used to take the request and then just not cancel it. When I worked at a bank in the early 2000's, we would get 2-3 closed checking accounts a month from people just trying to do their AOL withdrawal (ACH).

  • lf240sx vee (@lf240sx) reported

@NervousErecshun i spent 2 hours convincing this lady that AOL hasn't been used in 20 years for a reason, she leaves, 3 days later she calls back and says her AOL is slow and i legit just hung up

@GregLynn9418 No. I view WOT as a redemption story; Look at all of the damage men did in the AOL, but yet, there is hope for them yet; they can redeem themselves and do something positive. It almost sounds exactly like the real world mess we have, too, doesn’t it?
