@jungkooksimps We met online thru AOL, back in the stone age. He was from New Orleans, I was from WA. We talked online and the phone for 3 mo. before I flew down and the rest is history! Met in June, I moved to NO in Dec., married in June. Been together for 24 yrs now.

@mbeisen hopefully the AOL-like fantasy is going away and things like the general acceptance of open references are an encouraging sign. [it’s delusional to think that restricting access to content will make one’s own search service 'win’] 2/2

@Amtrak Hello @amtrak, any idea when this will be fixed? I’ve never heard of a website that refuses to accept email addresses other than yahoo, gmail, and aol. How can this not have been fixed by now?

WOW, @EBischoff channeling Lloyd Benson just made my day! Fact, WCW rose to what it once was when Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff were in charge. It declined when AOL and Russo ran it. There may be more to it, but no there is no doubt who was in charge on the way up and the way down

@WhoTheFIsAP Laugh all you want, but I still use my AOL email address, because, I don't give a ****. It's just an email address. Who cares? I never understood the stigma.
