@rde42 Never had a compuserve ID. I jumped from dialup BBS straight to internet initially via NetDirect, then briefly AOL (because 0800), and then leased line, and cable modem with Nynex. But never actually had Compuserve.

The original Microsoft Network, now forgotten after it quickly rebranded into an Internet ISP bundled with Windows, was designed around the AOL style of having a rich native Windows client to provide GUI interfaces to network resources at lower bandwidth than the then-new WWW.

@svembu Just got off the phone with a rep from your company Sandeep B , you're having issues with yahoo and aol servers no service email sent out to warn customers and the reps are extremely rude , have been having service with zohoone since i started using it .#zohohorrible

@MacroMarkets_ That's a slightly simplistic explanation of dotcom. There were serious companies, similar to FAANG, who were extremely overvalued. Gates was worth 100B at the peak when MSFT hit 500B. Cisco, Dell, Intel, AOL and other big companies as well. the **** ones were just todays SPACs

it's not like aol had bad cgi it's ok but that dream deer was.....questionable also some of the scenery effects made everything look like fairy dollhouses even when the time for it and the overall place wasn't really made to be viewed in that way
