Working in an elementary school in Harlem, soooo many parents would come in to get help with registration Bc they didn’t know how to use a computer. Meanwhile, Ive been on one since AOL. Yea, not everyone have the same access.

  • DaniPayson Andrea Marie (@DaniPayson) reported

@dinoisseur @xfmaweezy Damn, that would really suck for me because social media didn't even exist until I was in my thirties and double damn I didn't even have internet until I was 21. I only had four years to flail in IRC and AOL chatrooms about TV shows before my opinions were deemed irrelevant.

  • TheBlueApe Freedom & Whisky 🇮🇪🇺🇸🥃 (@TheBlueApe) reported

@SteamboatUSA Never mind the AOL email addresses; “Dudenhefer Law Firm” sounds like a Shelbyville firm on The Simpsons.

  • VickieBray8 Vickie Bray (@VickieBray8) reported

@jaywillis Do you think someone is inept just because they have kept an AOL. Email address? You're an idiot, sir!!!

  • RonaldKonkoma Crap Masterson (@RonaldKonkoma) reported

When bullies wanted to E-kick my *** in AOL chat rooms I used to tell them that my dad was Dan Severn and pretty much everyone backed down

  • CentennialAsh Ash (@CentennialAsh) reported

@SundaeRedux @AOL They haven't been able to cancel the AOL dial up internet connection after the first free month. Anyone else remembers those CDs in the mail?

  • jctopanga DickAllen15 (@jctopanga) reported

@ProjectLincoln Typo laden and filed in Florida by lawyers w aol addresses. The smell of wet dog **** on new shoes once again fills the air.

  • CampbellSocProf Bradley Campbell (@CampbellSocProf) reported

Years ago I had to cancel 2 @AOL accounts. With the 2nd one I told them right away that I just wanted to cancel, didn't want any of their services, & wasn't going to answer questions. That wasn't acceptable. (2)

  • CampbellSocProf Bradley Campbell (@CampbellSocProf) reported

So we spent a long time like that because @AOL thought I had an obligation to do business with them if I couldn't give them a convincing reason I needed to cancel. This is the extreme version of making it easy to subscribe & difficult to cancel, but it's all crookery (4)
