sometime in 2001, when I was like 12 or there about, I had a crush on someone i met in an aol chatroom, first real crush. one day they logged off, never to be seen or spoken of again. I've been repeating this event in various shapes and intensities for over 20 years.

@KnightBoyo_ Fun cornbread fact: for like 2 years in the 2010’s I exclusively used aol as my web browser on my phone just as a gag. I thought it would be funny for people to see me attempt to look something up, and have them see that be my phone browser Ran like ****! Was worth for the joke

Here’s the deal, even if the physical app shuts down temporarily it’ll come back. Elon will become bored and sell it. And it’ll pass along from owner to owner, hell… AOL is still in business technically
