Bar none the worst part of working a primarily tech support role is the ************* who think you are a wizard. No, *******, I can’t make your emails you deleted 6 months ago magically reappear. No, I can’t just call Microsoft and make your AOL email work perfectly in Outlook.

@Kaygirl8Lawana it is so bad now.. hell.. it was bad back when too. We first got AOL when my kids were pre teens..but thankfully my daughter met nice guys her own age. Miracle, right?

  • RudyMacadamia Its Just Rudz - 💎🙌💎 (@RudyMacadamia) reported

@DieselBabe37 Takes an hour to get to online to GO TO the AOL chat… These kids will never know.

  • girdley Michael Girdley (@girdley) reported

@XavierHelgesen "I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through AOL CHATROOMS at dawn looking for an angry fix,"

  • octavianaug octavian (@octavianaug) reported

@section146 @Reuters Fact based support? You are on a glorified AOL chat room right now with limited character and you want a bunch of facts listed for you? Am I your information slave? Going light on chomos, not being able to define a women...two pretty woke friendly policies.

  • GooberPyle5 Goober Pyle (@GooberPyle5) reported

@jason_kint We’ll see. The AOL/TW history, and the recent EU action support the view that Twitter, etc. are anticompetitive oligopolies which are inconsistent with a functioning democracy.

  • Sanchize14 Carlos Sanchez (@Sanchize14) reported

@GNev2 Sounds like an AOL dial up login!

  • KevDGrussing Kevin D. Grüssing (pronounced Grew-Sing) (@KevDGrussing) reported

Sure, there wasn't as much culture clashing as was the case with those AOL bastards, but AT&T had their own issue in that they bought the company and then socked it with a debt bomb the size of the Globe in their logo.

  • GoNoles421 thedudeabides (@GoNoles421) reported

@JackPosobiec All my conspiracy nut friends are on Telegram, but it feels like an antiquated AOL chat room to me, just a whole bunch of people yelling and it’s impossible to sift through all that crap to find anything useful

  • nemalki Jeff Harris (@nemalki) reported

For those keeping score, AT&T, for all its faults, is the SECOND-worst owner of Warner. AOL remains the worst. The whole company nearly collapsed because of them, and so much of it was spun off in its wake.
