I despise Ethereum. It’s an expensive, slow, over engineered network that pretty much runs on the attraction of TVL. 2.0 has more of a possibility of imploding in on itself as it sounds like a train-wreck waiting to happen. Will probably become the AOL of this century. Lol

  • reallyrai Incoming Tweet: (@reallyrai) reported

I need Twitter to start creating like sub timelines we can opt in and out of like aol chat rooms. Bc i could spend my entire day learning about my industry, talking about clothes and food and career driven content. The timeline be in the worst of states whenever i come here.

@MartyByrd0403 @engineers_feed I was working customer service in 1995 at AOL when they debuted a browser. It was the beginning of "surfing the internet" for millions. Prodigy also added a browser in 1995.

@3CFilmss 4) Fold or split Discovery and fire the idiot who is ruining everything like we did with AOL.

  • DukeofDC24 DukeofDC (@DukeofDC24) reported

@SyphinB @SeanRossSapp Because Discovery is making a bunch of bad choices regarding programming. The new regime may not see the value of giving AEW an massive new deal. WCW went under because of the AOL merger. AEW wont go under but it’s going to he hard to find a new network partner.

  • PokemonSports PokemonSports (@PokemonSports) reported

@PokemonTCGDrops Does the customer support email end with @ aol .com? Mans running his site off DSL connection on a clear green iMac from 2002.

  • JohnM1756 John M (@JohnM1756) reported

@RepMTG Put your fukin phone down and do your job. Same with all public servants. Treating your job like it's from a 1990s AOL chat room is embarrassing

  • bindingrod 🎀Dani Kandi🎀 (@bindingrod) reported

I just got my first DM on Discord about why I had quit re-AOL, so imagine me explaining to that poor person how I had repeatedly been telling some people that I didn't feel comfortable attending an offline meetup with them and having them... literally act like I didn't say ****.

@DavidblogerICBW We were still learning so much about email and the Internet back then; heck, the government didn't even have servers set up during Powell's tenure. If I remember correctly, he used an AOL email address because of that. The government was slow to get on that bandwagon.

@MiamiMoleMan On the flip side my kids will never know the horror of having their parents read the transcripts with someone from AOL support explaining why we are banned
