@HealThruHistory @TemperanceAlden i used to have a binder filled with discussions i had printed off of the various AOL groups i was in back in 02-03. i was way young (12/13) but oh man was this a treat for my starving little mind. i honestly dont think i had any other resource at that time. our library was meh.

@BTCSpeedBoat @TomerStrolight @Bitcoin_org_ 2400 baud AOL was my first internet in 1994. It was so slow, I didn't even understand at first that all these little boxes were supposed to have pictures in them. It wasn't until I got to 14400 that I started to see the pictures. lol

@TeamYouTube Hi! I'm trying to sign in to my old YouTube channel. Problem is the e-mail linked with the channel is permanently disabled (AOL). So, when I'm asked to provide a verification code, I'm unable to obtain that code since I can no longer access this e-mail. Please help!

in like 2005 I was chatting someone up and about to give them my email when I suddenly realized my goofy aol address from highschool was very stupid. So I said my email was [my full real name at gmail] and hoped it wasn't taken, and rushed home immediately to register it
