@svershbow 85 - I remember getting dialup as a kid and being on Prodigy a lot. But we still needed libraries for research at school, took actual hard photos, and I didn't get a cellphone until I was 18 and it was a hand-me-down. AOL and IRC were my big introductions to the internet.

@ATTHelp - Why is it when the data plan gets used up in a couple of days, the throttled version of service is everything but usable? Took 20 minutes to pull up a menu for a local restaurant. One image. 😡 128k might have been acceptable in the AOL days, but not today.

@CoinbaseWallet it’s amazing that the spam is better with customer service than your own “customer service” @coinbase is going to be the AOL of crypto.

@DaddyRolleda1 Years later a friend ran an online campaign on AOL. Damn was that fun. I still miss it 30 years later. After that was Neverwinter Nights on AOL. That was a gateway drug to the Gold Box games. 🤓

@WGoat13 @cdixon25 @EricFisherSBG Liberty wouldn’t have to break out the numbers for the Braves either if they hadn’t made a tracking stock for them. Braves were owned by publicly traded AOL Time Warner for years and we never had these numbers until the tracking stock was created.
