@ChartBreakouts well... i learned the basics when i was 15 with a bootlegged copy of MS visual basic. had a goal: to write an aol im punter that would flood my friends instant messages with crap until their aol clients frooze and they were booted offline. a ton of peeps my age learned that way

@BowTiedBull so from failing to curve their infra cost, we know their management sucks. Unless Brian Armstrong nuke their management and build it from the ground up, I don't think they can curve their expense. Probly end up like AOL, great engineers, horrible management

@NadaAJones As a matter of fact I was part of that early internet infrastructure when you have the slow dial up with the AOL remember those days listen picture is not good enough because sometimes you get these pictures and you even the pictures seem fake trust your gut no catfish accepted

@TheMindlessPod I went from AOL Chatrooms, to forums, to MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter. Never did Tumblr, tiktok, Instagram, snap chat, etc.

So @AOL's "one-time password for third-party mail apps" has been down for almost 3 months apparently and they seem to be completely silent about it which only means one thing; they want to force us to download their crappy mail app. Have fun losing your most loyal customers!
