@joncoopertweets @AOL I'm tired of fricking apologies. JUST DONT DO IT!! Treat people the way you want them to treat you!! If you want the public to respect you, earn it. They need to be fired and the message to all on the force that such behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

@thatpetewoods Growing up, I was fascinated seeing how AOL, Yahoo, and other tech giants could fail. Especially when they seemed like they had it all. Now I see.

@daddyhope @elonmusk He's an idiot that has millions to throw away when Twitter inevitably dies like AOL.

  • Keepapitchinin Keepapitchinin (@Keepapitchinin) reported

@DavidDGolding Tried to create an account yesterday to try it out, but they never sent the email with confirmation instructions. Tried changing to alternate email in case AOL was the problem; they kept saying the address had been changed, but they didn't send it to the gmail addy either.

@davewiner Everyone behaves like the current thing everyone uses is too big to fail. Bullshit. Microsoft, although dominant, is nothing like they were in the 90s. Many people don't remember AOL. Zuck is quickly killing FB. Everything dies and is replaced. Everything. Including Twitter.

  • KLovesSwimming KLoves (@KLovesSwimming) reported

@celestial_bean_ @RulesAmsterdam @B52Malmet AOL was never going to go away, until it did. MySpace is where everyone went, until they didn’t. Twitter, too, shall pass. Just leave the site. The sooner everyone reasonable does, the sooner your vital info is found somewhere more dependable.

  • JessBirken Jess Birken 🐌 (@JessBirken) reported

@NickJRishwain That's dead on. Right up there with never work for a lawyer using a Gmail, Hotmail or (God forbid) AOL email address

@jewelsjml @aolmail @AOL Likewise. They're not about making money, they're about terrorizing because, what are we going to do about it? If they were about making money, they'd be advertising a paid mail service.
