  • DeadairDennis Deadair Dennis Maler (@DeadairDennis) reported from Providence, Rhode Island

@bmoredownbeats I’m “sent AOL IMs via SMS text” years old. And I couldn’t continue reading b. Too many typos in their headlines. Such a bad publication.

  • bluesmama55 Blues Mama (@bluesmama55) reported from Pawtucket, Rhode Island

@JNureen @maydaymindy9 @AOL Thing is...I couldn't even contact aol. No email. No customer service. They just kept sucking up the money!! "you've got mail" and a monthly bill!!

  • FloWi FloWi (@FloWi) reported

@rossabaker @davidtx Me too. Asked my dad if I could download a patch for my video game. He agreed and I trusted the checkbox in the stupid AOL software "disconnect when idle" and went to bed... I was highly awake when I got up and saw the modem still blinking.

  • tolles Chris Tolles (@tolles) reported

@lorakolodny I remember those guys from the aol merger. I hope Kilar fires all all of them and burns down the culture there to the ground. I hate those guys so much.

  • SarahJohnsonPR Sarah Johnson (@SarahJohnsonPR) reported

@Come_On_Ground @jenniferlee_75 Lol. Cannot tell you how many times millennials who think they’re sparring with me on a topic, point to that and say: AOL? No one reads AOL. That’s just dumb. And I’m like: wow, you’re truly stupid.

  • LauraJ8338 Laura (@LauraJ8338) reported

@Fantanafest73 Absolute joke what they’ve done down the AOL bunch of pricks. I liked what I heard. Hopefully 3 points today

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • Resuna Peter da Silva (@Resuna) reported

@gahlamp @vectorpoem AOL was the first big online service to provide general Usenet access, notoriously in September 1993.

  • electriceden92 Tyler (@electriceden92) reported

@brendanowicz @DanielGorman20 I think a lot of insiders know the other shoe on this will drop in the near future, which is why there are tons of people cashing in now (there have been almost 500 new IPOs this year). I can see Netflix doing a massive sale/merger right before the **** hits the fan, AOL style.

  • Bobtrade Bobby L (@Bobtrade) reported

@LanceRoberts The inclusion of TSLA into SPX 500 feels like a Time Warner AOL merger. Just saying it's a bad omen from the market Gods.

  • Auroreanowl Did you feel that? (@Auroreanowl) reported from Boise, Idaho

PSA: If you're reviewing grants on the Zoom Grants platform? It's useful to not bother sleeping and login while others slumber. Slower than AOL circa 1995, or whenever that was.

  • andreagdittmann Andrea Dittmann (@andreagdittmann) reported from Atlanta, Georgia

Any You’ve Got Mail stans out there? Just me??? Like... why am I crying over a love story about a woman whose book shop was shut down by her secret “Internet” lover who owns a franchise of mega bookstores... and they communicate over dialup AOL emails #pandemiclife
