@Halcruttenden I remember my uncle came home from America for the summer & gave us a new laptop & set us all up on AOL. I was rude in a sports chat room and they suspended our entire account & every username associated with it. This was 1997, seems like it's gotten easier to get away with it

Back in the day one of my friends convinced AOL to send us a shitload of their "free trial" floppy disks, and we never had to buy floppy disks ever again. This was the ultimate lifehack in the early 90's.

When I first saw AOL chat rooms, I never imagined that a future version of them would be taking care of my children for over a year.
