@Melt_Dem maybe you are talking about that. I was alive at the time. The CDs that AOL sent out were a dilutive slow rug. first 60 minutes free, then 90, then a million.

I’m in it because at this point, it would be like refusing to use #email in 1999 convinced “internet will fail” Yea, most of the early on companies did fail, plenty of marketing/technology promotions backfired, but somehow millions are still using aol on a daily basis

Every time I hear the word Cyber, even for monday, it reminds me of the old AOL days, the awful dial up, the age/s*x/location, the you’ve got mail…cuz you know we were all cybering on the internets while our parents were drinking zima and doing the Macarena 🙃
