@JasonMBrodsky We’re always buying VPN services for family in Iran with little to no success. Speeds are AOL level of awful, videos don’t load, pictures take days. A text here or there on a good day is the best we can get from Mashhad.

@badkitty731 l've been online since '93 & seen the internet evolve l've had 1 (one) underage image sent to me via (aol) messenger by an anonymous sender in '00, l called then sent the image & the link info to the UK Internet crime unit & never heard back. ********** has NO place online EVER.

@pmarca Also, in the 1990s (by 2022 standards) your car was crap, the food was crap, and your house was probably crap. Your internet bill was $15/month to AOL.

I want someone to IM me in the gmail chat so bad. It is AOL instant messenger on a smartphone. Why are we not using this.
