@girdley AOL. Tried to control the internet from the top-down. Too late to evolve.

@KatBaxAD1 Have you never heard the AOL dial up tone? Like if the phone and internet are busy?

  • _eknock Enoch 🏕️ (@_eknock) reported

@KeneOliobi I guess it boils down to how "bard" you want to remain relevant. You don't wanna become yahoo or AOL in the face of innovation.

  • LadyLNorth Lady L. North 💙❤️🏀 🏈 (@LadyLNorth) reported

@matthewdmarsden When mom passed 4 yrs ago, she still had AOL email. When wrapping up her estate, I found they were charging her $40/mo for that stupid AOL account. I was so pissed off. AOL is a bad word in my house as a result. Bastards. Wonder how many other elderly folks are paying for that?

  • ravensbreak ravensbreak (@ravensbreak) reported

@Section_230 @SergioVengeance Fail. "Section 230, however, plainly immunizes computer service providers like AOL from liability for information that originates with third parties." Zoran determined it was defamatory & demanded AOL apologize for platforming it. Not the same as AOL censoring legal content.

  • gsekse Glenn Sekse (@gsekse) reported

@ask_aubry Sigh... If you type something to the internet, it never dies, it will become public. If everyone would remember this, maybe people would be nicer. I stand by my posts, all the way back to AOL, though my drunk texts are not my favorites.

  • TStheDeplorable TS the Deplorable (@TStheDeplorable) reported

@geno_bisconte Bob is still using the free cam that came with his Gateway desktop. And streaming on AOL sucks.

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • northswain parker (@northswain) reported

and i mean i was a big fan. hung out in aol chat rooms, roleplayed in the setting a lot, read every book within the first day on release...but once i realized all the weird **** in it, i was over it.

@hellyeahjeremy @MKBHD Don't under estimate innovations. That's like saying: Most people use Yahoo and AOL, people will never switch to Google. or Google is boring without the News, a good Homepage, and email needs invites, I'll keep my yahoo account. Learn S curves.
