@AOLSupportHelp Sorry for my insistence. I've done further tests and sent to you a DM with more details. I believe that the problem is not my Thunderbird, as the inconvenience also occurs with other software to manage mails.

I'm not gonna get upset if an app turns to ****. I never thought I'd fully recover to losing my hoes on AOL but here I stand

I feel like I'm going insane watching the world's richest man pay a tremendous fortune to buy an internet forum lol. AOL, Yahoo, Tumblr, etc. All went down the drain. Why isn't Twitter

@digby56 I still miss IRC, Newsgroups, CompuServe forums, The Sierra Network, AOL, Yahoo Messenger, various MMOs, MySpace, and Facebook. I also miss the gum I chewed yesterday, but when the flavor is gone you spit it out.

  • JakeToadNYC Jake Toad (@JakeToadNYC) reported

I miss the days when my AOL told me I had mail rather then my #Twitter telling me it’s going to sell out to a fascist *******

  • Lady_RBF Lady_RBF (@Lady_RBF) reported

@Grand_handsomer As a kid, we had an AOL account that was designated for chatting. My dad set it up so that no one could email or IM it. We would go into chatrooms and just annoy the crap out of adults in there, they would get so mad. Good clean internet fun.

  • prchovanec Patrick Chovanec (@prchovanec) reported

    9. Nobody is making me use it, and nothing - not even the network effect - is really preventing someone from offering something substantially better. If they did, I suspect it would quickly go the way of Blackberry, Blockbuster, and AOL.

  • Ky71Matt Matthew Smith (@Ky71Matt) reported

you know, if AOL were to reboot Messenger as a microblogging service.... AOL MSNGR

  • HackingLZ Justin (@HackingLZ) reported

@FrankMcG @AccidentalCISO Facebook is horrible for build threads and such but the internet very much looks like AOL in the 90s walled garden that keeps people inside a few apps. You also have this thing where everyone wants to split up already small groups into sub groups and takes away from active users
