My little sister just graduated from AOL and I was never a fan of the school because the other kids were always out of pocket. I have no idea how she did it all those years.

This remind me of the time when I said “**** you” in the kids aim group chat with my moms’ aol account and got her blocked off. Boy did she whoop my ass. 🤣

I've been seeing a lot of "I'm old enough that..." here lately. Well, *I'm* old enough that I remember using dial-up AOL - and I was a Livejournal early adopter. We invented broadband cuz dinosaurs kept knocking the POTS lines down.

Reza II was not operating his own intelligence network out of his home in Virginia with “sophisticated electronics.” Were his informants emailing him secret messages from their dial-up AOL? And if any of this were true, he certainly wouldn’t let the LA Times publicize it.

@xeynuraf Thankfully I've never had to camp out. I did have to spend extra for a useless AOL account I didn't need or want in order to get presale tickets for Drowned World Tour...that's the about the extent of it, lol. And then there was that lottery mess with Madame X Tour...
