@Titan4Ever2488 If the AOL deal never happened they probably last at least another 5 years...if not longer. I mean, TNA is still around...WCW likely would be too.

@s_carruthtx @Readdle @SparkMailApp If you had bothered to read the privacy policy, you would know what I was talking about. Quoting: “For services like AOL, Exchange and custom IMAP accounts, this access token is your email login and password.“

Trying to keep your place in an article while slow-as-AOL ad content populates from the world's oldest CDN running on an ancient Core 2 stuffed in a SuperMicro pizza box and continuously shifts the page layout is hilariously stupid.

I still have an AOL account t and it has 17k emails. I’m scared to delete them even though I will never read them. What if I need to know about the sale Bath and Body had last month?

@Anticleric Just because a platform/service is built-in doesn't mean people will default to it. AOL had its own chatrooms and BBS systems, but ultimately people would go to external sites for specific BBS' and chats (though AIM for p2p was still top tier). "First is nice, best is better."

@wildsatchmo Excellent example. AOL stayed with 56K for too long and lost market share until it was too late to catch up. BTC is heading down the same road.

@HbarJerry $ADA still 7-8x away and has the network use of AOL in 2022. That’s absolute minimum baseline. $HBAR easily 20x from current level. $3-5 E Z P Z

@pauliethesuit @ImSpeaking13 The last time I saved recipes to an App it suddenly shut down and I lost all the recipes. Since then I save all the recipes on AoL in specific folders:FOOD- Pork, FOOD-Seafood.. This way I can read them on laptop screen and send to others.

American Idiot came out when I was 13. I had a major man crush on Billie Joe Armstrong's guyliner and eyeshadow and my AOL email sound was him saying "Email, Email, Hope it's From a FEMALE"
