@cburniske Read somewhere on Twitter today how Ethereum is crypto’s AOL and Coinbase crypto’s Netscape. Bad idea to draw market parallels but can’t help but think in these terms. Thoughts?

@AlbertSTartagl1 AOL is something I never used. In 91 I was 19/20 (depending on the month) and using the University of Maryland's system as my internet portal via nefarious methods 🤪. That was until I started paying for internet access via Digex. Then got a job in the industry at UUnet in 93.

Once they start crying or telling you their poor wife died, then you know it's a scam. I used to get that a lot on AOL when it first came out. #Devilintheweb

just bought 2 double vodka & 2 jager for £10, the north is the best 100000% fact. don’t care if there is no internet and I am pinging this off some poor ******’s aol

@balajidbv My only grouse with Isha Foundation and AOL is that they don't convert. And long term the problem lies in converting mlecchas to Arya fold.

  • SneakyBear1987 Rob (@SneakyBear1987) reported

@AOLSupportHelp I need help and it's urgent. I've forgotten my password to my Email Account and it won't let me try and recover it. I use it for work and at my wits end.

  • JeffChr55 Jeff Christiansen (@JeffChr55) reported

@MeatTC_ That great news! AOL has been and remains my email which I set up in 1994. Always reliable, unlimited storage, no cost. Not even 1 day of disruption in service in 28+ years. Key to success for both Bitcoin and AOL is HODL.

if you're too young to have used aol instant messenger let me tell you it was better than any of this **** we have now. that was peak internet. all downhill from there.

@dopaminenjoyer been around since the mid 90s, before that there was aol but i wasn't dialing into some crap I got in the mail lol

  • LurkerMister MisterLurker (@LurkerMister) reported

@The_IAP @mrddmia Augmented reality (the metaverse) is the future. But a single company will fail to own it just like AOL failed to monopolize news/emails/internet connection.
