@zoolegs 1. Told someone I was from Michigan and that the weather here was nice. 2. Called someone an *******. Both times I tried to lie and tell my grandma I didn't do it and both times AOL ratted me out with the receipts.

@RealCableGuy1 @realscottyriggs The AOL-Turner merger would have ended it no matter how good or bad the product was in 2000-01.

@MaribelLopez As you know ;Slack is AOL with a memory and has resulted in more inefficiency, lost communication streams and multiple inboxes that must be monitored. Email remains bloated, inefficient and ubiquitous. "Name-Your-CRM" is still basically a quoting and tracking system with bad data

@Conscious_Filth Lol I still have access to my aol email 🤗 I can’t let it go because of nostalgia but I don’t use it for anything important. When I sign in and forget that the volume is on I’m still surprised at the loud ass “you’ve got mail”

@Andevrs I didn't even get a computer until I was 36. Hated AOL went on the web and found a site teaching html (htmlgoodies). Been building websites for a couple decades now. WordPress came along so been using it for 15 yrs. Learning React and building with @Gatsbyjs now. Never to late!

@chamberhands @thehill If you must know the reason I did was because of YouTube's terms that Google accounts could be terminated so I created a new Twitter with AOL you stupid moron

@laurrrelyse I was watching a show where they did a flashback episode to 2001, and immediately thought how kids will never know the horrors of aol dial up internet, and the first wave of chatrooms. Idk if its a good or bad thing
