    Is anyone having issues with their yahoo or aim email accounts, just looking into something that may be going on with them, i think yahoo owns email domains for aim and the old aol accounts

    @Rengle820 I suspect that @meta wants to be the portal to basically everything, like AOL was in its early days. I think that's a bad thing, given FB's exploitive business model. I'd be OK with Google as the search engine. Search is of course a fundamental, critical function.

    @KBAndersen Don’t forget AOL Time Warner dropped the AOL after the merger. As fast as they could after waking up with the worst hangover. I worked on that research. Worst. Negatives. Ever.

    @pen_is_mighty off the world? AOL was bad back then, but this is worse. But by the looks of it, Facebook is going the same way AOL went.

    @pen_is_mighty I was an "AOL Scout" back then, and I can see the signs. There is too much they DON'T do and to much they DO. It is becoming too obvious that they don't give a flip about users, they ban for every whim and often false and the "oversight board" is doing ****. They're doomed.
