@thelindsayellis Since it's an alternate universe couldn't you just make an AU gmail equivalent and have characters talk about how it's the hip new thing replacing yahoo, hotmail, & aol, and name it something stupid like bazoo. And then you only have to buy the bazoo domain

@Realisphere @cartruckdriver1 @collnsmith Oh that wouldn't be a problem, I know plenty of husbands and wives that share a computer. Often the same browser. The biggest problem I see is a mixing of bookmarks, and using the same website for email (AOL, MSN, Yahoo, Gmail). Using multiple browsers, or Chrome profiles helps.

@FFandSaints1 @cburniske No threat- it’s a completely different use case. One is a protocol-layer solution and the other is a platform like AOL. It works until the incentives no longer align.
