@FreedomMobile I'm a very easy customer. Very. Freedom is hands down the worst business of any type I've used in decades, since AOL. Every month you shut my phone off. Every. SIngle. Month. Your system is broken. Your customer service is an offensive joke. What an embarrassing organization.

@AdamB1438 AOL its early days tried to impose a porn filter on its forums. In one fell swoop it decimated the major online breast cancer support groups of the day. IMHO, that’s not a sign of a reasonable policy, but of idiocy and fear pushing a company to harmful extremes of incompetence.

I encourage people to get a different email address than AOL- if you tell me that’s your email I’m gonna go ahead and assume you are bad with computers. And old.

@daybreakdisdain I grew up poor so the technology I mentioned didn't totally reflect the timeline lol. I started using the computer at 12 and it was a rebuilt pile my weird uncle put together and we had to keep using AOL free trial disks lol BUT STILL ITS A THING!

Want to see the power of a brand? 1.5 million people are still paying a monthly subscription for AOL. Instead of dial-up access, they get technical support and identity theft software. Your company may change, but if people trust your brand, they’ll keep paying.

@BitcoinMagazine As there are no more beepers, blackberry phones, or wall phone units. Get off old technology that’s on life support unless your email address still end as .AOL

Overheard at work - one employee explaining to another employee what AOL is because they'd never heard of it. Then having to pause to explain the acronym AOL. Please, my knees and back can't take anymore.
