  • BiancaChristine BiancaChristine (@BiancaChristine) reported from White Lake, Michigan

@clubjade That's pretty crappy if it's true. I don't remember what the name of my old AOL Star Wars group was, but we do have a FB group (that's pretty slow/inactive).

  • ER_FAN1280 Michael Roberts (@ER_FAN1280) reported from Livonia, Michigan

@K929LEX @WithElaina My AIM was ER_FAN1280 I still have access to my AOL E Mail it’s strange to give a younger person that E Mail they look at you like you stupid or something

As of 2017, 2.1 million people still use AOL’s dial-up service. Mainly, these customers live in rural America where it can be expensive and unreliable to get high-speed internet. Meanwhile, dial-up is only $20 per month. 2/2

  • AndreiBondoc05 Andrei Bondoc (#Scoobtober era) (@AndreiBondoc05) reported

To conclude, in short, yes, AT&T's acquisition of Time Warner (and TW's subsequent renaming into WarnerMedia) worked as bad as AOL Time Warner. And why? Because of incompetence and ego, that's why.

  • jpxmonkey JOHN PARSONS (@jpxmonkey) reported

@aolmail hi - has anyone else reported a problem in UK with printing on AOL Web Mail?

  • RAMPAGE1963 RAMPAGE1963 Get your shot, I got mine (@RAMPAGE1963) reported

@muskrat_john Like with AOL back in the day' They use to say the easiest way to cancel was to report the card you used lost or stolen so they couldn't charge it anymore

  • TheRomanianOne The Romanian One (@TheRomanianOne) reported

@Dynamicbrands @SlackHQ Yeah, tbh, not 100% sure I can see as much leverage in the move either, but from their perspective they probably would like to add the 450M MAUs $PINS has to their payment platform in some way. I don't think this will go down anything like AOL type disaster but time will tell.

  • LHinata85 AshTheHornyAlolaChamp_85 (@LHinata85) reported

@Otome_Komi I can vouch for being an idiot in the late 90s using AOL and chat rooms, however it wasn’t that bad back then. Still I knew better than to give out personal info..Still I was no saint looking up Pokémon hentai back then either.

  • Shawnlings ayumu pog (@Shawnlings) reported

Please give me a unit that shuts down either AOL or Rem. 🙏

  • murderbits murderbits (@murderbits) reported

Jesus, this horror series "1994" on Netflix is so bad. AOL Instant Messenger in 1994?! "The internet" in 1994 at home in the general household? The only thing they got accurately was the music, which is good.

  • SnarkySprite Snarky Sprite (@SnarkySprite) reported

@NancyLeeGrahn Too bad America Online is already taken. Facebook is the new AOL. #Irrelevant

  • Thx4TrumpDNC Revolution Needed Yesterday (@Thx4TrumpDNC) reported

@Javert_Michael @AOL Sad we'll never have the good ole days again. Just increasingly shittier ones ahead of us.
