@Otome_Komi I can vouch for being an idiot in the late 90s using AOL and chat rooms, however it wasn’t that bad back then. Still I knew better than to give out personal info..Still I was no saint looking up Pokémon hentai back then either.

@Breanna_Needham It’s mostly a generational issue. Counsel that began in the era of fax machines are used to the formalities and comfort of a letter. Younger lawyers like my colleague think its wasting time and paper and I should get over AOL dial-up being discontinued and bite the bullet.

Idiot Leo Laporte the one preoccupied with kids, is telling people they should pay for E-mail. The last time I paid for E-mail is when @AOL was worth something. It didn't work and it's a horrible company. No more chat rooms, buddy lists, or even software. HORRIBLE !

Jesus, this horror series "1994" on Netflix is so bad. AOL Instant Messenger in 1994?! "The internet" in 1994 at home in the general household? The only thing they got accurately was the music, which is good.

@RunemirQi @DigiKapitalist That's a big problem, to put it mildly. AOL, My Space...terrible roads to go down.

@VerizonSupport Ok, so no tech support. But is AOL Mail a Verizon service ? Is Verizon Media an owner of AOL ? Does Verizon have any business relationship with AOL ?

To conclude, in short, yes, AT&T's acquisition of Time Warner (and TW's subsequent renaming into WarnerMedia) worked as bad as AOL Time Warner. And why? Because of incompetence and ego, that's why.
