@bayareawriter My insurance agent still has his original aol email address. I'm scared to ask if he's one of those people still paying for the service.

  • FyrBorne Chris “SoaR FyrBorne” Strickland (@FyrBorne) reported

@metalslug0390 i've got gig up and down, and I'm currently using my AOL download speed.

All I’m saying is it would not be a bad idea to be interoperable. Years ago AOL was the internet of choice and today that is not the case. So why are we acting like Eth is going to be the winner when it has only been around since 2015? What if the winner ends up being $Dot / $Ada

  • CourtneyDagger Courtney (@CourtneyDagger) reported

Remember when Apple used to make it impossible to change your Apple ID? Well, I’ve learned that it is now super simple and I no longer have my awful AOL email address!!! BLESS. 🙏🏻

  • pontetaglia Champagne Supernova (@pontetaglia) reported

@drhpa33 @jpere8 @sandofsky Couple centuries ago I did tech support for AOL. People would always ask "can you see what's on my screen?" One time I told a guy "yes, and you better delete that porn before the wife comes home."

@bitemyapp @st_boniface_axe we had a 386 hand-me-down from a family friend who upgraded--he was a programmer and early-adopter (worked at apple at some point; later sold a business to Adobe). It came pre-loaded with some DOS side-scroll games. You had to load up win3.1 to run AOL.

  • DavidRamirez54 David Ramirez (@DavidRamirez54) reported

I'm old enough to remember receiving calls on the house phone from friends & even girls from school. The worst part of that was anybody in the house could listen to your convo from a different phone on the landline. And direct messages back then were through AOL instant messenger

  • EvanJamesAudio Good Will Stunting (@EvanJamesAudio) reported

@M7_Reaper @seanwdubs I swear these two are running an AOL disk in outer Mongolia. I have never waited for a PVP match in any playlist of Infinite literally ever.
