@ThatEricAlper Turning the volume down on my gateway computer speakers when AOL was connecting online (so my parents wouldn’t here)

  • albrecht1968 bishop (@albrecht1968) reported

@DirectorArketer @ActualLib Technology garbage is really bad. There are landfills full of AOL and NETZERO CDs for example.

  • GuyManDudeBro2 GuyManDudeBro (@GuyManDudeBro2) reported

@AncientOnyx @robinandthebee @Variety Not even ******* close. We had AOL and Netscape, we asked Jeeves (I mean, who really did?). AIM was our go-to, social media wasn't a thing, beyond chat rooms. We were playing MUDS because even flash through a 28.8 would be too slow to play a game (had it been out!)

  • KingShevin IG: @KingShevin (@KingShevin) reported

If you never heard of cingular wireless, Wachovia bank or AOL… address me as Unc

It is becoming clear some aspects of @ProtectiveStdm were not ready for prime time. Its internet, for example. Not only do fans have no service, the @stadium broadcast is so choppy it looks like it’s on AOL dial-up.

  • MattSchmenk Matt “The Replyor” Schmenk (@MattSchmenk) reported

@WuBlockchain This isn’t good if I am not mistaken, means 2.0 is more than likely getting pushed back even further, lol ok AOL or MySpace, calm down

@budjones @NewStyle303 @GadSaad ‘Thus, lawsuits seeking to hold a service provider liable for its exercise of a publisher's traditional editorial functions — such as deciding whether to publish, withdraw, postpone or alter content — are barred.’ - Zeran v Aol - US courts of appeals, Fourth Circuit- Nov 12, 1997

@Molson_Hart I’m in EV business and big EV “network” companies should be on the list if city gas stations are in their. Viahart did more in Rev last year than 1.2 BB $BLNK. EV charging will be done at home or given for free at stores. Will follow internet—remember when we PAID for AOL?

@horgasborgas @jaynooch That joke you told 20 years ago before Twitter on AOL that somebody recently posted on Twitter inferring that bugs are inferior -- well, I found it very speciesist. I suggest you get professional help -- if you even see this because I know you don't have a Twitter account.

@DanAlanRourke It’s not a bad show. But kind of outdated that was when AIM/Aol was relevant.
