    @Scobleizer The moment is set later in retrospect. That's the issue. We look back at the 1000s of moments and pick one. Like AOL CDs but there was much more to the moment. This ebbs in then a crash.

    @JimmyC1366 Purchased a desktop computer in the early 90's at Costco for $2500. With a dial-up modem and slow as a snail. And the only way to make thing work was to buy an AOL or other stupid cd disc and pay outrages bills to them.

    @BadfishRanch @BlueFlameBlues As someone who was nearing 30 in the mid-2000s when started I had never had an AOL account before. Blew my mind that all my counterparty interactions were using that platform. No ICE chat then too but you could message anyone in the bid stack which is bonkers to think about too

    @90sWWE WCW’s demise wasn’t just down to AOL and Time Warner’s merger. From the executive level to day to day operations to creative to talent, it was badly run with more people in it for themselves than the collective benefit.
