  • burrrrrberry Melissa Burr (@burrrrrberry) reported

@xHarbz @PrimordialAA @mbl267_NFT Probably how primitive technology was back then. Still dialing up for that AOL service and hoping for some free hours to arrive on a CD via the mailbox.

  • whoadereNELLY Nelly Urameshi (@whoadereNELLY) reported

My work computer is so slow. I haven’t had a computer this slow since aol dial up

  • IDCCCCCCC14 fullname (@IDCCCCCCC14) reported

Just tried login into my @AOL email and it seems as if Aol took it upon themselves to delete my account. Called customer service and they couldn’t help either. This the only email platform that has done this. Pieces of ****. **** AOL.

  • JohnSno37705473 John Snow (@JohnSno37705473) reported

@AOLSupportHelp there's obviously still a record of my account in your db because when I try to sign in, it says it's deactivated rather than telling me the account doesn't exist. Any way to escalate this?

  • jus1Don Corleone4 (@jus1Don) reported

@BrokenGamezHDR_ Aw **** I took it waaaaaay back you taking about AOL smmh

  • ISpeakMyTruth58 Christine (@ISpeakMyTruth58) reported

@clairecmc I called AOL to cancel my Dad's account after he died. They wanted to know why it was being cancelled, I told them because my Dad, the account holder, had passed away. They then wanted to upgrade him. I said no, he won't need it because he's DEAD. They don't listen, don't care.

  • geographile geographile (@geographile) reported

Just pulled something off Twitter to send to my kid in discord, checked in on local homeschool chat on signal, and forwarded something from gchat to sms with copy/paste. I don't have AOL, irc, or icq anymore though.

  • BSLabs6 BS Labs (Devoid) (@BSLabs6) reported

@Infosec_Taylor @AlyssaM_InfoSec FWIW, AOL didn't provide internet service until September of 1993 - also known on Usenet as The Eternal September. I was at university then, and things sure... changed. More pointless trivia - January 17th of this year was September 10,000th, 1993

  • harry_schuh Harry Schuhmacher (@harry_schuh) reported

@BeerBizDaily AOL keyword: beernet. (remember those? I can't link directly because twitter is fighting with my website and I do not know why or how to fix it).

  • romeihii Jerome Mathes Jr. (@romeihii) reported

We really used to fall for someone through #AOL conversation. **** was epic.
