Crazy. @Xfinity your internet goes down everyday three times a day for the past two weeks. At this point I’m tempted to pop an AOL 3.0 disk in with a 56k Modem and take my chances. Fix your ****.

in fact, the hard fan-**** meetcute at AOL followed pretty quickly behind a universally derided, Hail Mary pass of a rebrand to "Aol." [sic], within a couple months of that I went from knowing a dozen folks who worked for them to one, whose job was leasing out their office spaces

the situation with fb rn feels really similar to when, after a period of increasingly manic attempts to do something, anything, **** really started going hard sour at AOL - they were offering stratospheric salaries nobody would take or stay for because it all stank like roadkill

@EnnexTheFox I remember my parents buying our first computer in 1996. Had a HUGE 6GB hard drive. So big, "you'll never fill it" Plus a "wicked fast" 56k modem An Iomega ZiP drive And a 16x CDrom drive And, of course, the spankin new Windows 95. With a free trial of Aol... XD
