@misosusanowa @wildwalkerwoman I think about this a lot, as someone who was on the internet more or less constantly from 1998 on. I NEVER ran into this kind of **** on AOL, because they had vigorous moderation

@BrandonTalks @ChrisPirillo Ugh, I still remember my ICQ #. Not gonna lie, but I still peruse the occasional IRC to this day. As for AOL - to this day I blame them for the onslaught of ads that permeated the 'net. Before them, banner ads weren't a thing. T'was better when they were on their own network.

@ToriNicksWho **** what EYE think is crazy is our generation grew up in AOL chat rooms n tings but still dont take their children's online safety seriously Eye(14-16) had to tell a grown man that I was too young for him(25+) He responded that his **** would rip me in half Im watching my kids
