  Robert Johnson explains the exit-timing test behind selling BET to Viacom. BET had gone public in 1991 as "the first African American company publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange." Then Johnson and John Malone "bought the company back private in '98." The question became: "How do we continue to grow it and at the same time create an exit strategy for Liberty Media?"   @Brownbeingg There is an old horror movie from when I was a teen in the 90’s and parents were convinced this type of thing would happen to us. It’s called Strangeland(on tubi). I got caught in one AOL chat and my parents put me on AOL kids until I was 17. It was LOCKED DOWN.

  @stetansley Psn was down, but just like with physical games... you could still play what was installed offline, having a disc doesn't magically give you internet access... this isnt 1996 and AOL is long gone... dumbass
