@ToiWeezy Even tho I'm locked down now, I can honestly say... since 2002-2003 I've never been cat fished... like since yahoo/AOL chat days. If shorty didn't have a web cam, we wasn't speaking lmao. I had me a 20 dollar web cam and a plastic mic and was pulling chicks lol.

I was born in the internet in 1994 with TEN using AOL. 26 hour DL forever patch. 56k, if you fail... entire download again. wrong ISP, you'd be ****** for weeks....

@joshtwist @daveon back when I was hiring for the technology channel at AOL, I found it hard to find any applicants who realised that AOL was an online service and not just the tiny public web site, which is a thing someone writing about technology should have maybe known

Can you believe it? As of 2017, 2.1 million people STILL use AOL dial-up service. These mostly rural Americans face expensive and unreliable internet access.
