@rajboshmahal @ParikPatelCFA Was thinking the same. I remember shaking my head when AOL was announced. Equivalent merger would be with amzn MSFT or AAPL. so now you have to figure out which one of those CEOs is stupid enough to do it.

@JaysonElliot I still use my AOL email I’ve had since day one. I also have several gmail accounts, and three outlook accounts. if it isn’t broken, I’ll keep on using it.

Somewhere out there in this country is a guy I met on AOL in the mid90s from the Isle of Wight that I will never ever be able to reconnect with because I remember nothing else about him.

@DougStanhope @DIRECTV Years ago when the internet was new to me & I had no idea what was going on, AOL double-billed me for a 2nd Netscape account. The rep on the phone could see that it was unused, a mistake, & literally laughed at me for being stupid. No refund. They train those people to be shitty.
