@dancow In the 90s I had an AOL account so I could test our software on their proprietary browser. Couldn’t cancel online. Had to call in (but long wait on hold). Instead, I switched to cheapest (4.95) plan until credit card finally expired.

@claudiakincaid @DrChloeVitry Strikes me that MS is trying to build what used to be called a walled garden on internet, AOL the most notorious, and unis are buying into it. Going into and out of MS is getting increasingly complex, and one has to wonder with the UI design is just bad or intended to do that.
