  • NellieBerlicchi Nellie Berlicchi (@NellieBerlicchi) reported from Jersey City, New Jersey

@AOL my grandfather is completely locked out of his account and I can’t get help because I don’t have “premium” services. That is absolutely ridiculous that I have to pay to just speak to an agent on the phone to help him get into his account that he is locked out of. Do better.

  • ismashrobots Christopher (not prominent, low followers) (@ismashrobots) reported

Potential's life started to suck after the Monty Python skit, but in the 90s, with AOL/email spam AND caller id coming out, the poor man just couldn't get a phone call answered. Now, "smart" phones send his calls directly to trash. You know, he's potentially NOT a spammer too.

  • OctoberFerguson October Ferguson (@OctoberFerguson) reported

@Andie00471 Soon after Al Gore invented the Internet and AOL was invent, I actually read the entirety of the Terms of Service and what they called Rules of the Road. The rules stated just what you say. A disguised version of a word is consider by TOS the same as the word.

  • SergioVengeance Sergio Vengeance 🇺🇲🎮🤘 (@SergioVengeance) reported

@SewerFish510 @NewStyle303 @ObverseDefi All websites are publishers, Mr. unsmart guy. YouTube can be biased. Zeran v. AOL "Lawsuits seeking to hold a service liable for its exercise of a publisher's traditional editorial functions – such as deciding whether to publish, withdraw, postpone or alter content – are barred"

  • asapwitthecanon 🅳🅸🆁🅴🅲🆃🅾🆁: (@asapwitthecanon) reported

See, some of y’all spoiled, always asking for the wifi password every house you go to. Y’all will never understand the struggle of having to wait until everyone in your house got off the phone in order to connect to AOL dial up.

  • rpierce916 Robert Pierce (@rpierce916) reported

@Shane_Taylor @Liz_Wheeler @elonmusk No different than the mass amounts of it and pirated software on AOL servers back in the day. Those who were looking for it knew where to go and those who didn't never knew it existed.

  • EZC79 Carl C. (@EZC79) reported

@AOL I just want to let you know you suck and your service is garbage. My elderly mom’s password isn’t working but you are the only site in the world that doesn’t have an easy reset option. Worse when I tried calling, I’m told phone support is only for premium customers.

  • rpierce916 Robert Pierce (@rpierce916) reported

@Shane_Taylor @Liz_Wheeler @elonmusk No different to the mass amounts of it and pirated software on AOL servers back in the day. If you knew where to find it on there you would see it. If not then you would never know it existed.

@theyoungman6669 In the late nineties i had to reveal my pass to the AOL help guy. It was 'StinkyPinky', the guy was very professional and choked down the chuckle right away.

@R_M_1152 @HNCHDynamite No it absolutely didn't lmao. The AOL Time Warner Merger happened, and the big suits from AOL didn't want any wrestling on their programming, so they killed WCW. WCW was never close to cancellation before that WWE likes to twist the narrative but they're wrong
