@AlexStritar @RiseFallNickBck @CartoonHeroGuy A lot more harm. AT&T wanted to get out of the debt and the merger only made it worse. Guess Time Warner never learned. Remember the AOL Time Warner merger

@evren__7 Damn I remember this guy from when I was a kid but I had no idea he was still being paid up until 2019. Even back then it was pretty obvious that AOL wanted all the media presence and power of a Steve Jobs-style “tech wizard” figure with none of the legitimacy

@evren__7 I worked at Aol, he made no sense, no one seemed to know what he did except to talk a few times a year, generally inadvertently explaining why our business model was going to fail.

@HughesNet been without service for two days now. No answer from email support. Disconnected I don’t know how many times from phone support. Why am I paying as much as I am for service that’s comparable to AOL dialup? $400 termination fee is looking better and better.

What is an absurd thing your parents/elders do that you have desperately tried to convince them to stop? My dad still pays @AOL a monthly fee for his absolutely terrible email handle.
