@EricVBailey Because the limited access numbers, the customers were dialing long distance (sold by the same co.) into the service to get online. 😐 These we’re typically rural types who didn’t know there was another option (like AOL that had numbers local to them). Felt skeezy so I bounced.

Remember in AOL chat rooms, we would say BRB when we would leave the interne for a bit, what happened to that ? We never say BRB anymore , because we all stay here now ⛓ 🌹 ⛓

Remember when we could comment on news stories on Yahoo, AOL and the like? I do. 95% of comments were in opposition to the narrative they pushed. We had a voice. They shut down comments before the 2020 election and have controlled the narrative ever since.
