@thisone0verhere IBM PC Junior … DOS operating system … Windows at that time did not exist … it had a very slow dial up process to connect to the Internet. I used Prodigy, AOL, and Netscape software to play around with. This was back in 1983/ 84 period.

Remember the AOL "You've got mail!" notification? I don't think people would tolerate that crap in modern life. You'd hear it every freaking minute.

@FrozenAlchemy Kids today will never know the pleasure of that screech of sounds crawling up your spine waiting for aol to pop up saying “You’ve got mail!” Or having to wait because someone was on the line.

@tomselliott @Google He should try AOL. I have them, and no issues sending ANYTHING, to ANYONE, including my suspicions on these Jabs, face hiders, and distancing!
