@PensHawksLeafs she has a pw book and i have told her oodles of times she has to write them down. today she didn't know the difference between AOL and Apple accounts nor what Safari was *cries*. She told the operator she hopes other customers weren't as difficult as her lol

@danielharan @Vadeboncoeur_Al No problem. The critiques at the time seemed that I recall seemed very focused on the pathologies of the specific platform — AOL, Usenet, CompuServe, etc.

@SonnyBunch Right, but AOL was raking in dial-up cash for like a decade after that model "died" How is there no service willing to milk money from senior citizens who would rather just pay more to not have to deal with this new model?
