@Tinder WTF does your payment system still has an idiotic glitch as if this was back in the AOL days. Seriously. Charging people but not really giving their acount the status they paid for. Just stealing my ******* money

  • auntiesam_2 Auntie Sam (@auntiesam_2) reported

@Newnameel @ShenanigansMom I mean no offense. I'm just confused. Which generation are you a part of, and I am assuming you're American but maybe you're not? I'd understand if a British person has never heard of AOL.

  • nscope7 Sean Morris #BlackLivesMatter (@nscope7) reported

Why did I write AOL online and earn all the redundancy points. Feeling very stupid right now.

@admiralsid What does your 14-year-old-girl-in-an-AOL-chatroom-in-1996 response mean, then? Just that you think it's bad or wrong?

  • 3clpx 3clpx (@3clpx) reported

@JimmyRayBennett @RDCresearcher I was on usenet & Internet Relay Chat myself, never made it to AOL (although those free CDs were everywhere!) Had a stories published online in zines, art on some movie fan sites, and my first website was done around 1997 in college. Still writing, making art, and designing

@LouisatheLast Hmmm, I think I was in MSN roleplaying chats first... though not till early 2000s I think. I definitely didn't start until I was like 12 so it couldn't have been in the 90s. I moved to AOL after MSN started shutting down their chatrooms though.

@mtracey You absolutely can. Ask AOL and MySpace. There are viable alternatives already, they just have not been marketed properly to the masses. I have never bought anything from Amazon and no longer use Google at all.
