@CriticalBlast @oliebergpc @SierraWhiskey9 Before I was an idiot and paid for AOL to play star trek pbem and chat sims, there was dialing up Hagerstown library for their gopher, newsgroups, chat (was it over telnet?) and other long gone protocols; MUDs and MUSEs, Medievia, Youngstown freenet..

  • clg419 StillAVol🍊 (@clg419) reported

@voldog19 @espn Seriously! I pay for espn+ having to login and choose a provider is the equivalent of AOL dialup

@erinbiba @netflix Can I suggest you cancel and only when you actually have something you want to see you subscribe for a month? Let’s call it the new AOL movement. This was how AOL died right?

in 7th grade i hacked into my family’s AOL account and made it so that instead of saying “welcome” and “you’ve got mail” and “goodbye” it played clips from this album that i recorded from a tape player into the computers mic. my poor mom. she didn’t want to hear that ****

  • bobsurlaw Burger Snail (@bobsurlaw) reported

@TheUselessGod I remember thinking it was awful and then going on AOL and seeing lots of people praising it for Being Faithful to The Games and my brain dying

  • drunescape1 drunescaped (@drunescape1) reported

@alexisohanian Never. College or alum email will exist forever. Most of those addresses actually auto forward to whatever address you set. Your job email will change. Gmail, hotmail or aol are less professional. Made up email with your last name as domain seems more conceited.

  • BlazedLabs Blazed Labs LLC (@BlazedLabs) reported

@AOL "You've got mail" :'( please, I will sacrifice anything to help you guys succeed!

  • Lil_Filmmaka Lil_Filmmaka- "OFFICIAL" (@Lil_Filmmaka) reported

@cbouzy The texted verify code button doesn't work when you hit "submit" after putting in the code. So can't get verified so cant use the platform. Also it looks like it will be great, but the pages load extremely slow like AOL dial up. And I have a superfast internet.
