@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

@phealthsean @cfiesler @kakape Instance is a needlessly confusing word. Before Gmail nobody had trouble understanding that they could use their email server to send to people on a different email server. Just name some of the mastodon instances "hotmail", "aol", "yahoo", and all will be clear

@wjmaggos @lolennui @AOL Just finding better messaging than talking about servers/instances/federation would help so much. Also Mastodon needs much better search/discovery so people find a better starting point when they first join, though some of that will improve as the network grows. 2/2

@AOLSupportHelp how can I get a chat session so I cancel my support plus free trial? When I’m logged in, clicking on “Live AOL Support” takes me to the “sign up” ad page, not to anywhere that I can start a chat.

2/5 So far he is destroying his investment at a record pace. AOL was nothing by comparison. Alienating Advertisers, Employees and Customer all at the same time doesn't actually represent a "strategy". Maybe to some of the cheering MAGA contingent, but not to people who count.
