If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

@BC_Trevor Sometimes a business has to adapt or fail. Take AOL back in the days for an example. Even though they were leading the space at the time with plenty of money to play with, they still failed. The world was heading towards high speed internet and they stayed with 56K dial-up.

@ThatEricAlper Sirena en la Playa, my song Meta won't let me post since they shut down my account since the World Peace Party. Can't upload it to youtube, twitter, etc. If the world is gonna explode with nuclear war cause NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO ME ABOUT ISIS/AOL, at least I'll be on the beach :(

@ohyeahhii @JoeTyner5 @svershbow How was home internet scarce in the 90s? AOL was practically throwing those discs at people and if you had a landline, you were mostly good-to-go. Anyone who already had a computer wouldn't have a problem obtaining/plugging in a modem.

@annalindwasser @MartyMoss3 @svershbow 1982 was an awkward year to be born, like a generation hybrid. My mom would ground me from the computer and then need help using the computer so I’d convince her that I couldn’t help unless she ungrounded me. I’m old enough to remember and have used AOL chatrooms.

@paramountplus why is your app worse than 1997 AOL dial-up? Constant slow loading, constant replaying of commercials, conveniently two seconds before the break should be over. Get your diseased sh1t figured out like yesterday.
