  • Kitttiiieee 🐱✨ (@Kitttiiieee) reported from Yonkers, New York

@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

  • Daniel_Guiney Daniel (@Daniel_Guiney) reported from Valhalla, New York

If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

  • ldollaz_ Laura (@ldollaz_) reported from New Rochelle, New York

I hate telling people I still have a AOL account, but when they tell me they still use Yahoo and hotmail....I don’t feel bad at all.

@javroar Does #AOL not count? AOL instant messaging was the **** 😬

  • DanielOfOmaha 🎸The Amazing™ Daniel (@DanielOfOmaha) reported

@GarySharp1620 @damonbenning @HapperShow Fremont to Omaha was long distance at the time, and that's where we had to dial in to. Internet time really flew by when it was super slow too... AOL $ + Long Distance $ - that caused some problems at home. 😬

  • Teaacup_ enigma ☕️ (@Teaacup_) reported

Web 1.0: Text & photos. Yahoo search engine. Email. AOL. Dial up. The “read only” web. Web 2.0: Apps. Login & creator profiles. Social power. Blog posts. Streaming. Web 3.0: Ownership. Monitor transactions of supporters. Decentralized control. Blockchain. NFT. Crypto. Metaverse

  • KKArts09 //Käptain-Krunch// (@KKArts09) reported

@Mr_Boxmeister Nah that will never take off, I don’t think AOL is getting replaced anytime soon

  • roninjanitor Nick Lozano (@roninjanitor) reported

Watching the season finale of @Stranger_Things was like watching someone trying to cancel AOL dial up in the 90s. It’s a viscous cycle of trying to get out but getting sucked back in.

  • Royotathon Royotathon🌾 (@Royotathon) reported

the 90’s was pretty much just getting in trouble for watching mildly edgy cartoons while having unfettered access to AOL chat rooms

  • CatOuellette Catherine Ouellette (@CatOuellette) reported

Does anybody remember their Hotmail, Yahoo, msn, or AOL email address login?

  • SuperB44B Bev (@SuperB44B) reported

@bestqueenliz @alexpearlman That wouldn't bother me either. Also, I'm curious why tech companies are allowed to micro dose kids w/ dopamine all day and how they expect parents to monitor the activity. Maybe they could whip up an algo to help the AOL generation police the Meta generation.

  • ohmahsheep Astra🌙⭐️ (@ohmahsheep) reported

@shelldrakeTV @Big_Al_Forreal @DreamLeaf5 Oh I’m def not new been on this **** since AOL was the only way to get online. 🕺🏻 people seem to like my comment.

  • woke_oak woke oak (@woke_oak) reported

just realized that because AOL Time Warner was a company that existed at one point, cartoon network and netscape were owned by the same corporation
