@geoffreytucker1 @graeme_56 I never used AOL either. Also, strictly speaking, I never had an actual (Sony) Walkman ("other personal cassette players available...")

@FischerKing64 I e never understood why minor disagreements turn into blood vendettas online. Maybe nothing to lose but have seen some really weird behavior culminating in rl consequences from online stuff. Boggles my mind…but for reference I cut my teeth on trolling in aol dial up chat rooms.

@MKBHD It’s because crypto hasn’t had utility Marques. It hasn’t been actually able to do anything because of scalability and fee issues. Working on it. The Internet was just email at first. AOL was state of the art at one time. Early still.

@xolotl I will stand by it that AOL has expired as a way and place for people to build community and communicate, even if there is still an ad network scraping a few impressions in its name.

@Patra56 @billifer1973 @BrittanyMH_AF Lol... I'm also 1, but because I never had MySpace. I may be 0.5 if I signed up.and never used it. Also I still USE my AOL email lmao

******* @GetSpectrum by far, the worst, internet experience I've ever encountered. REPEATED and consistent crashes. I'd rather deal with late 90s aol dial up.
