I highly doubt it wouldn’t be salvaged (either by the current owner or any ********* who bought it from him) but you never know. Stranger things have happened in the social media sphere. I never thought AOL IM would be eradicated.

Had a pretty good time here, although I never originally intended to even be here, so not half bad really. Am I going to miss this place? Sure. Will I figure out where else to hang my head? Yep. I survived AOL and MySpace going under, I'll survive Twitter going offline too.

@TallYouBack Since the lights are flickering I'll tell you the short stupid story. Dude from Boston thought my government name was Geiger. Which it very much isn't. But it stuck, including the accent. Then when I signed up for my second AOL free trial in 1995 my i key also stuck.
