Then I was like naa they created this way too fast. The I was like, real **** everything happens faster now because the world shares information. It used to take 15 min to sign into AOL on dial-up and now I’m on the internet instantly on 5G. Makes sense when put in perspective

@mattgould_nz I used "gopher" so search the internet and TIN to read network news. No browsers, just email. THEN came the revolution: 1200 BAUD modems 20 MB hard drives 16 MHz CPU Then, the real revolution: "You've got mail!" ~ AOL, LOL Luckily, I never had to deal with punch cards.

.@SIRIUSXM has fully adopted the old @AOL’s business model. They overcharge you until you decide to call or chat with an agent and you get to cancel or get a 80%+ off discount. Not the best customer experience.

@NashTurley @lars_brudvig How did we never discuss this? My first AOL screen name was a Dillinger Escape Plan one because of their first EP.
