@ryanknott @metronetfiber YES. I miss Lightspeed. I often get the “bad quality” warning message from Teams during meetings. My colleagues probably think I’m on 1996 AOL dial-up.

@Jefferyabrown5 @DOBrienATL @Stan_the_man817 Braves still have one of the worst TV deals in sports. Signed right before the massive explosion in sports tv rights deals when AOL/Time Warner still owned them and locked them into a 25 year deal. It’s definitely way below market value and they could be getting 2 to 3x that.

@ScammerPayback AOL Instant messenger no longer works. It was shut down around 2019-ish. I recall our local radio station's dj say it was shutting down. So it's no good. It walked itself to the dead programs Graveyard 🪦

Me getting online since you had to use a phone line and dial up aol: sees everyone posting the most **** opinions for decades and realizes, oh, we can just say what we want. Posts own opinion on social media 20 years later. Everyone else: No, not like that.

I remember when I was 9 & making an AOL screen name for the Nickelodeon chat rooms &I tried to put 420 at the end of it & my parents said no, try again so I said ok then 69 & they got very concerned & sat me down at the kitchen table and had a talk with me about "adult numbers"

@JRehling Should just roll everything back to the days of @AOL without the dumpster fire chat rooms. Login, check emails, IM some people, surf the net.
