@AmbientSynthy Working the phones for AOL tech support. It was a blast, lol.

  • m315625 Mike Jagiello (@m315625) reported

@AOLSupportHelp Funny how you move this to dm just to tell me the feature is broken and there's no eta for a fix. You're not a real tech company.

  • zl11 この命もういやー (@zl11) reported

@SomerInTheWind Those rules never completely applied. They were IMPLIED. And it was easier to not be in everyone’s buttcrack back when the Internet was basically AOL+dial-up, and fandom writing was basically just Fanfiction[.]net. Social media has changed the rules.

  • plebHODLBadger HoneyBadger (@plebHODLBadger) reported

The internet wasn't made obsolete by AOL or Microsoft Network, and became the global network and base layer for information. Bitcoin won't be bettered by any other "crypto" or CBDC, and #Bitcoin will become the global network and base layer for value settlement.

  • GodOshee Oshee Da'God (@GodOshee) reported

@sprint aka boost mobile. Why is your service at the rate of AOL dial up. What are you taking from me in 5g because you give me nothing but class action vibes.

  • GoCatGo Rick Knight (@GoCatGo) reported

@MaureenBond @RudyCerda Yes! Horrible graphics! I was on Compuserve, The WeLL, Prodigy (which was, l believe, a Compuserve platform), AOL … along with having a number of BBS accounts. Dial into one … disconnect … dial into another. The phone company loved it, all those second lines.

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported
