@PhillyMike My best friend worked in one of the towers. Luckily he went to work later than most people. There was no cell service that day so the only way to finally communicate with him was via AOL IM lol

@emilyhampshire @nytimes I had that problem with America On-line many moons ago. Finally went to my bank, told them i wanted AOL automated payments ended, which is my right. When the bank hesitated, i said i wanted to close my account (which would solve the AOL problem), they agreed to stop AOL
