For the first time Google AI actually HELPED me fix something that usually frustrates TF out of me (getting my Windows 10 ers Outlook 2010... which has ALL my emails going back to forever to speak with my current crappy @verizon AOL email account.)

  • PhillyPartTwo Michael MPH 🇺🇸 ✌🏼 (@PhillyPartTwo) reported from Churchville, Pennsylvania

@AOLSupportHelp I am so so sick and tired of every single email from a recruiter or job offer is going to my spam. Your spam filters are AWFUL and need an option to be less sensitive. I'VE LOST JOB OPPORTUNITIES BECAUSE OF YOU. And there isn't even a new mail indicator next to spam like inbox!!

I expect the focus will now be shattered, and it will be knee jerk reaction after knee jerk reaction, until it all melts down and is sold to Verizon for some insane amount of money. Then, two years later, Verizon will sell it for pennies. (see Tumblr, AOL, Yahoo).

@munin @AOL Munin, this platform is ****…. let’s at least bring back away messages.

  • Davisimaging Mark Davis (@Davisimaging) reported

@gjzaidan @BrianKarem @CalltoActivism Probably wouldn’t take that much since this is already the 2nd worst deal in history besides the AOL/TimeWarner merger.

  • UKPoliticsLive UK Politics Live (@UKPoliticsLive) reported

Remember when AOL bought Bebo in 2008 and by 2010 it closed down because AOL managed to buy in just as users realised it was rubbish?

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • BozoMcTaggart Bozo McTaggart 💙 (@BozoMcTaggart) reported

@aolmail Hello! My husband uses AOL mail in the UK and seems to have an issue with sending to and receiving from @btinternet.com email addresses. Is that a known issue?

  • pjla48 OhYouP 🇺🇸 (@pjla48) reported

@MattZeitlin 1000%. This will go down with AOL/Time Warner, AT&T/ DirecTV and AT&T/Warner Bros as one of the stupidest deals in history.

  • jonfmorse ʝօռ ʍօʀֆɛ (@jonfmorse) reported

@BarkingCarnival @sean_legg @DCTrojan Define fail. All internet platforms have failed, ultimately. Every single one. Users age, new adoptions drop off, eventually you have USENET, or AOL, or LiveJournal, or MySpace, or Facebook.

  • AlysaTaladay Alysa Taladay 🦕 SFF Writer 🚀 (@AlysaTaladay) reported

@KBSpangler This is gonna be like AOL/AIM all over again for me. Hopped on board to have a good time right before it crumbled apart before our eyes, one lost service at a time, each time watching membership bail in droves.

  • loafingcactus loafingcactus (@loafingcactus) reported

Me reading the description of Mastodon... I am really too old for this ****. AOL, Usenet, blogs, social networks I don't even remember the name of, Facebook... on and on its never going to end. I think I will read a book.
