Honestly it’s rude af that we use FB Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat and the rest to talk but not AOL Instant Messenger. AIM was the real OG and we did it *****.

@TrevorDame Saying Tony Khan killed ROH is from the same book that credits Vince McMahon for killing WCW, or Vince Russo being the reason. There was a whole lot of underlying **** at play (in ROH's case, ****** investments; in WCW's, terrible spending habits/AOL-Time Warner merger)

We are paperless so we get the emails of all of our customers (I know, ironic for a guy with over 15K unread emails.) Just got off the phone with a customer who had an aol dot com email. I didn't know they still existed. What's next? Compuserve? Earthlink?

@ComradeJae @hoboshutterbug ISP is Internet Service Provider. The people that your internet hooks up to. AOL-era the ISP didn't connect to your house, they had a room full of modems for people to call with their modems (computer internet phones).

My son was only four years old when this aggressive male got hold of my unlisted phone number, all from an AOL chat where I didn't even use my full name. Fortunately, he never made good on his threats to harm me. Unfortunately, he probably found someone else to harass.
