@Whytekong123 The anime was meh, but the games though were the ****. They would stop the disc spinning in the PlayStation then you could put in any other disc/dvd/aol **** and it would generate you a monster. I used to have a list of the cds that have the best monsters.

  • YTRONik terrible ideas™ (@YTRONik) reported

@notaLane Hulu was designed by NBC universal and partnered with Yahoo, AOL, Facebook etc as initial distributors in 2007. Not long after, Disney joined the consortium. Did they steal the name from some pirate service or something?

@MPleasing72 This is such a narrow view of commerce, "online ****" can mean every single product you'd find in a store. AOL was pretty bad when it was on dial up but it still was groundbreaking and then the tech got better over time.

@7Veritas4 This is how I try to be in all interactions online, particularly considering I've been a denizen since AOL finally hit my region... It has gotten real, real bad though as people continue to lose that connection of there being another person on the other end of the screen.

  • 5le Eli Schwartz (@5le) reported

@badams While maybe they should be considered a publisher that would be absolutely terrible for SEO. Imagine a world where they need to moderate everything that they index? That would bring us back 25 years to AOL or worse.

  • TCalifornian The Californian (@TCalifornian) reported

@Doy1eee And our #Strong nodes are mired in it, at least for now. I’m hoping that @WithoutTheRope, as forward thinking as he is, must see this and know that Bitcoin is like AOL, ETH is like Yahoo.Old tech.better block chains out there to help support, especially when utility really hits
